Furnaces are essential for manufacturing ceramics for electronic components which have been in increasingly high demand in recent years. Mitsui Kinzoku manufactures the refractory bricks used to line these furnaces, as well as kiln tools and bricks used for nonferrous metal melting furnaces. We also manufacture Metalofilter®, a world-class filter known for its highly efficient removal of impurities in molten aluminum. This filter contributes to the manufacture of aluminum beverage cans throughout the world. Additionally, we are also working with high performance ceramics to make new developments and applications, and to exploit their use.

Product overview
Mitsui Kinzoku manufactures high-quality high-performance and energy-saving refractory materials made from select high-grade materials using proprietary technology and facilities. These materials cover a broad range of applications, including kiln tools used with firing furnaces for making electronic components, sanitary earthenware, and ceramic and porcelain products; furnace bricks used for building high-temperature furnaces and atmosphere furnaces for firing fine ceramic products; and refractive lining for furnaces used to melt nonferrous metals.

Applications

3 and 4 are used to make kiln tools, such as shelves and stilts for firing sanitary earthenware, ceramics and porcelain; lining for melting furnaces for nonferrous metals; and materials used to dissolve aluminum.
