Rare earth elements have very similar chemical properties and had been difficult to separate. In the 1960s, however, separation and refinement techniques such as ion exchange and solvent extraction were developed. NYC established these separation techniques and began commercial production. Rare earths have a wide range of applications, and we provide products with production conditions adjusted to achieve the purity and physical properties that meet the various requirements of our customers.
Rare Earth Refining and Recycling
Separation and refinement technology by solvent extraction is a key technology of our company. Each rare earth element cannot be easily separated, and depending on the rare earth element, extraction processes have to be repeated hundreds of times to gradually increase the purity. By continuous processing of this extraction, we are able to supply products with stable purity.
In addition, some rare earth-containing products can be recycled using this technology. By recovering and re-refining rare earth-containing materials generated in the customer's processes or at the end user, precious rare earth elements can be recycled.
Powder Control
Rare earth elements can be used in different ways depending on the form, such as fine powder, granulated powder, agglomerated powder, large particle size, and crystal. In order to ensure a stable supply of large quantities of products that meet customer requirements, each production process is strictly controlled.
We also produce prototypes of rare earth materials that are not normally available on the market, such as complex oxides, materials with small amounts of other elements added, and special salts, with a view to mass production to meet customer needs.
Melting and Casting
The main applications of rare earth metals are magnets and battery materials, but they are also used in a wide range of other applications. We are able to provide products, even in small quantities, to respond to these various needs. We also offer consultations on processing into shapes that meet the needs of our customers.

Manufactured products are collectively managed in a stable environment to maintain quality, and we strive to deliver stock items in a short period of time.
