Nippon Yttrium Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") collects and uses information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, organizations and titles (hereinafter referred to as Personal Information) in order to facilitate the Company's business operations. We recognize that the appropriate protection of such personal information is an important responsibility, and in order to fulfill this responsibility, we handle personal information under the following policies.

1. In addition to complying with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations applicable to personal information, we shall handle personal information appropriately in accordance with generally accepted practices regarding the handling of personal information. We shall also strive to improve the handling of such information as appropriate.
2. We shall develop the rules regarding the handling of personal information and make them known to all employees. We shall also request our business partners to handle personal information in an appropriate manner.
3. We shall specify and announce the purpose of use of personal information and handle it in accordance with that purpose.
4. In order to prevent leakage, loss, falsification, etc. of personal information, we shall take the necessary measures such as audit of management standards and management system and manage it appropriately.
5. The Company shall accept requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, or cessation of use of personal information in our possession from the person in question at the designated contact point (Human Resources and General Affairs Section, Administration Department), and shall　handle such requests in good faith.
6. The Company shall review and improve the handling of personal information as necessary.

We shall use your personal information for the following purposes.

1. Contact for business purposes
2. Implementation of contracts (provision of products and services, etc.)
3. Provision of information on products and services handled by the Company and its group companies
4. Provision of information on seminars and exhibitions held (organized, sponsored, co-sponsored or supported) by the Company and its group companies
5. Requests for customer satisfaction surveys and other questionnaires
6. Response to inquiries and requests from personal information providers
7. Providing and contacting information on recruitment and practical training
8. Other purposes considered reasonably necessary for the execution of the Company's business
9. Other purposes that have been announced to personal information providers in advance

The Company may share personal information with our group companies for the above purposes.

The Company may entrust a part of its business operations to a subcontractor for the smooth execution of business, and may entrust the subcontractor with your personal information to the extent necessary. In such cases, the Company selects contractors who meet the Company's standards, concludes a contract with them regarding the handling of personal information, and supervises them appropriately.

In the event that the Company needs to use your personal information for purposes other than those described in "2. Purposes of use," the Company shall obtain your consent for such use, unless otherwise permitted by law.

The Company shall not disclose or provide your personal information to any third party, except in the cases of joint use with group companies as described in "2. Purposes of use," entrustment to a subcontractor, or any of the following cases.

1. When the consent of the personal information provider has been obtained
2. When the information is disclosed or provided in a manner that does not allow the identification of the person, such as statistical data
3. When disclosure or provision is required by law
4. When disclosure or provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the personal information provider in question
5. When it is necessary to cooperate with the national or local government in the execution of public affairs and obtaining the personal information provider’s consent may interfere with the execution of such affairs.
