NYC provides various types of rare earth powders and compound powders by combining core technologies such as "particle size and composition control," "granulation," "sintering," and "high purification," in which we have accumulated a wealth of experience over many years of development and manufacturing of rare earth products. We are also working on the development of new materials by actively promoting joint research with universities, partnerships with external companies, and other forms of co-creation to develop new materials.

Ultrafine Powdered Rare Earths

NYC can provide spherical nanoparticles with a diameter of several tens of nanometers. Even though they are ultra-fine particles, they are highly dispersible and can be expected to be used in a variety of applications. Yttria (Y2O3) and other rare earth oxides are also available.

Rare Earth Complex

We have developed rare earth complex which can dissolve in a wide range of pH (from acid to alkaline). We can also make alcohol soluble complex or prototypes of precursors for CVD coatings.

By using this product, you can achieve higher dispersibility of rare earth element compared to using conventional oxide powder product as shown below.

NYC has experience in manufacturing all rare earth element complex except Pm. We will develop other kinds of complex as well with various physical characteristics, so please feel free to contact us.

Rare Earth Anhydrous Halide

Rare earth anhydrous halides are being used in various fields such as intermediates for pharmaceutical products. Based on your request, we will produce high-purity rare earth anhydrous halides (e.g. anhydrous chloride) that does not contain water or oxygen.

Approaches to Preventing Improper Conduct in Research Activities

In order to maintain and develop fair business activities, NYC has established its “Internal Report Desk for Research Misconduct” based on the "Guidelines for Measures against Misconduct in Research Activities" (approved by the Minister of MEXT on August 26, 2014) and the "Guidelines for Management and Audit of Public Research Funds in Research Institutions" (approved by the Minister of MEXT on February 8, 2014) established by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
