Under the ISO9001 quality management system, NYC only ships products that have passed strict raw material and process analyses, and which have passed final chemical and physical property analyses.
We also strive to improve analysis accuracy by adopting precision analysis methods and technologies specific to rare earths as needed.
Chemical Analysis
In order to confirm the separation performance of rare earth elements in the solvent extraction process, we measure rare earth element impurities in the manufacturing process and final products as needed.
We also conduct the same analysis for each element other than rare earth elements to check for impurities and confirm its purity.
Considering the characteristics of each element, we conduct microanalysis through atomic absorption spectrometry, ICP-atomic emission spectrometry, ICP-mass spectrometry, fluorophotometric analysis, and glow discharge mass spectrometry.

Physical Analysis/Instrumental Analysis
Many of our products are manufactured to meet the needs of our customers. In particular, powder properties and shapes vary according to the application.
In order to confirm that the powders meet the needs of our customers, we conduct various physical analyses such as powder shape observation, particle size distribution, specific surface area, and powder density.
This analytical equipment is shared within the company and used for manufacturing process control analysis, quality improvement of manufacturing processes, and new product development.
